Since our founding in 1966 as Wilson, Ihrig & Associates by Dr. George Wilson, we took great pride in building a successful and renowned acoustical consulting firm. Based on both a philosophy of providing cost-effective, practical solutions and technical innovations, we gained national and international prominence, as well as a strong and loyal client base in the San Francisco Bay Area where we began.
As Wilson Ihrig, we attributed much of our reputation and longevity to our many innovations in the areas of rail and building vibration isolation that have made seemingly impossible projects possible. With over 60 years of noise, vibration, and acoustical knowledge to pull from, we stayed relevant and continued refining and building upon our work and research.
In 2025, we became part of RWDI. Our acoustics and vibration specialists are now part of a broader network of experts solving environmental and engineering challenges worldwide. Our clients benefit from RWDI’s approach of combining acoustics, vibration, climate, and performance engineering. We’re proud of our legacy and excited for what’s ahead.
